2026 HARVEST CREW - MARLBOROUGH
We are currently recruiting for our 2026 Harvest Crew at our Marlborough Winery. Processing premium grapes from multiple regions and multiple varieties on behalf of our Clients, you will join a large sized winery in a hands-on role in Cellar operations.
We have positions available as follows:
Assistant Winemakers (4 required)
- 2 or more vintages experience
- Formal training as a winemaker preferred
- Familiar with winery software
- Ability to supervise a team of cellarhands
- Expert knowledge in operating cellar equipment
Experienced Cellar Hands (40 required)
- More than 1 vintage experience (no formal training required)
- Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week.
- Perform routine tasks in the cellar and operate winery machinery. These tasks include grape receival and processing, general juice additions and transfers, barrel filling, racking, floatation, and lees processing of juices
- Supervisory experience desirable
Cellar Hands (30 required)
- No experience required.
- Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week.
- Perform routine tasks in the cellar and operate winery machinery. These tasks include grape receival and processing, general juice additions and transfers, barrel filling, racking, floatation, and lees processing of juices.
Lab Technician (2 required)
- No experience required.
- Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week.
- Perform routine laboratory tasks which include collection of samples and analysis of juices.

- The right attitude, lots of enthusiasm, and energy
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Good command of the English language
- Compliance with quality, hygiene, and safety
All jobs will commence in late February/early March for a period of between 6 - 16 weeks. During the vintage peak, staff will be expected to work a 12-hour shift, 6 days per week.
We offer a great team environment, fabulous vintage meals (when 12hr shifts are operating), daily snacks, and a big Vintage party once all the grapes are harvested. As well we have:
- Extensive in-house training in all aspects of your job.
- Help with finding accommodation
- Transport to work in the first week
- Personal protective equipment
- Information pack to help you with your stay in Blenheim

We are currently recruiting for our 2026 Harvest Crew at our Waipara Winery. Processing premium grapes from the Waipara area and multiple varieties on behalf of our clients, you will join a medium sized winery team in a hands-on role in Cellar operations.
We have positions available as follows:
Assistant Winemaker
- 2 or more vintages experience
- Formal training as a winemaker preferred
- Familiar with winery software
- Ability to supervise a team of cellarhands
- Expert knowledge in operating cellar equipment
Experienced Cellar Hands
- Minimum 1 vintage experience (no formal training required)
- Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week.
- Perform routine tasks in the cellar and operate winery machinery. These tasks include grape receival and processing, general juice additions and transfers, barrel filling, racking, floatation, and lees processing of juices.
